Halloween Surprise

It's no trick: A rare keg of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout is set to be tapped at 10:30 tonight at Blue Agave Tequila Bar in Belleville. Enjoy this big beer from a Goose Island goblet – yours to keep with purchase. Also enjoy the fact that Blue Agave has no cover, a costume party and The Mhurs onstage.

On the Goose Island Web site, the brewmaster describes the stout as "a liquid as dark and dense as a black hole with thick foam the color of a bourbon barrel." But don't be scared – it'll be a treat, promise.

Cover 2 Grill and Wash just opened in the old Clark Station on IL 161 / Sherman just south of Lebanon Avenue.

They have plenty of bbq to go and even offer a hand car wash.

Haven't tried it yet, but it looks good.

There is a new family friendly, Showbiz Pizza / Chucky Cheese-type place on the east end of Belleville.

Oro Party Land opened a little over a month ago in Lake Christine Shopping Center. They have pizza, beer, and plenty of games for kids.
